📚 Coming Soon: A New Chapter for Wesley Chapel

Big news for book lovers, parents, students, and anyone who appreciates air conditioning and free Wi-Fi—a brand-new Pasco County Library is coming to Wesley Chapel!

Construction is already underway on the new 13,000-square-foot facility, located next to Seven Oaks Elementary on Mystic Oak Blvd. The project broke ground this past April and is expected to open its doors to the public in Fall 2025.

And this isn’t your grandma’s library.

This $11 million space will include:

  • A dedicated children’s area

  • Study rooms and collaborative spaces

  • A multi-purpose makerspace

  • Public computers and printers

  • A gallery wall, outdoor reading porch, and even drive-up services

Whether you’re picking up a novel, booking a meeting room, or just escaping the Florida heat for a quiet moment of sanity, this library is being designed with the growing needs of Wesley Chapel in mind.

Final hours are still being set, but expect evening access at least two nights a week, plus all the perks you’d expect from a modern library, including access to Pasco’s popular Library of Things (think more than just books).

Wesley Chapel is expanding fast, and this new space is more than a building, it’s a hub for learning, creativity, and community connection.

Stay tuned, Wesley Chapel. A brand-new chapter is on the way.

🌊 Surf’s Up, Wesley Chapel

Grab your board or at least your beach towel, because surfing is coming to Pasco County in a way no one saw coming.

Peak Surf Park, a 35-acre surf-focused attraction, has officially locked down land within the Two Rivers development, just a short drive from Wesley Chapel. Set to open in late 2027, this will be Florida's first major inland surf lagoon, right in our backyard.

At the center of it all: a massive wave-generating lagoon powered by Australian Surf Lakes technology, surrounded by a half-mile beach. But this isn’t just for surfers. Peak Surf Park plans to blend surf culture with full-on entertainment, think concert venues, restaurants, bars, retail, fitness centers, and even event and business spaces.

It’s not just a park, it’s a destination.

The project is the brainchild of Tony Miller, who launched the idea in 2022 and is now crowdfunding its pre-construction phase. According to an economic study, the park could generate over 700 jobs and $1.3 billion in local business output over the next decade.

The surf park is part of the larger Two Rivers master-planned community from Eisenhower Property Group, which will include homes, shops, golf, parks, and just about everything else a growing region needs. From pickleball courts and playgrounds to an 18-hole golf course designed by Scottish architect David McLay-Kidd, this development is aiming big, and Peak Surf Park is riding the wave right into it.
