The Game is Changing

The internet was supposed to make it easier to build and connect. Somewhere along the way, we lost the plot.

beehiiv is changing that once and for all.

On November 13, they’re unveiling what’s next at their first-ever Winter Release Event. For the people shaping the future of content, community, and media, this is an event you can’t miss.

Right on Target

Wesley Chapel doesn’t do “small.” We’ve got the nation’s largest man-made lagoon, and starting today, we’ve got one of Target’s biggest stores to match. The brand-new mega Target officially opens its doors today, October 12, at 27920 Pink Flamingo Lane, and it’s huge. Like, two-and-a-half-football-fields huge.

Inside, you’ll find a built-in CVS, a Disney Store, a full-size Starbucks, and enough aisles to turn a quick errand into an afternoon field trip. The store brings 170 new jobs to the area and offers same-day delivery and lightning-fast curbside pickup (because who among us hasn’t needed diapers, coffee, and a scented candle all at once?).

With this grand opening, Wesley Chapel adds another feather to its rapidly growing retail cap, proving once again that we don’t just grow, we upgrade in bulk. Welcome to the next chapter of Chapel living, Target style.

Local Help When Needed

Over in Port Richey, Chasco K-8 Community School is rethinking what a food pantry can be. Instead of the usual drive-through handouts, they’re letting families shop the pantry. It’s like giving people the dignity of choice, grab what you need, don’t just take what’s handed to you.

This model recognizes that one size doesn’t fit all. Some folks need more produce, others need certain staples. Letting families pick means less waste, more respect, and a pantry that actually fits lives.

If this idea catches on in Wesley Chapel schools, we might see less stigma and more solutions. And between you and me, I’ll take dignity over charity any day.
